- When I was four years old back in the 50’s, my parents moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil. One day I’m talking English with friends in California and the next day I’m talking English to friends who don’t have a clue what I’m saying! Eventually – after a month or so – I started speaking Portuguese but when I finally graduated from an American high school in Sao Paulo, I was on the 1st plane to California. I got married, had 5 kids and had to make a living if I wanted to support them and an airplane. I worked the 8 to 5 job until my boss said that if I wanted to keep my job I had to move from San Diego to LA! Hell would freeze over before I’d consider moving from San Diego, “America’s Finest City”, to all that gridlock and smog! So I lost my job, but I had my dad’s solid work ethic. I made good money in sales but I also worked 12 hour days. I’ve made hundreds of thousands of dollars every year doing this, but I’m tired of that rat race. Gas costs too much and rush hour is all day long. I want to spend time with my family, not on the freeway. So I’ve decided it is time to enter the ranks of the rich professionals that use the Internet to make a living. I wish I'd done that years ago.
